Izhaar-e-hunar 2012
The Welham Boys’ School did a clean sweep yet again at the Izhaar-e-hunar 2012 hosted by Hopetown Girls School. Even more so this time than in the past, we secured 1st positions in Dance, Enact a Tale and Orchestra and as though that was not enough we won the Overall Art Trophy and secured the 2nd positions in Face Painting and Caricature Making. However, we missed a hattrick in lifting the Overall Trophy which went to RIMC this year despite the fact that we fared better this year than in the past. More than winning or losing is the experience the boys had in participating and interacting with several other schools of the region. The day long programme was busy, but over and above that all our boys had a great time and of course busing it back with a such a great haul of trophies was in itself a morale booster. Hip hip hurrah for Welham Boys’ School.
