C.B.I Day Celebration
'The law functions solely on evidence'. This was the statement that caused the inception and creation of the Central Bureau of Investigation. On the 1st of April C.B.I day is celebrated. : Harshun Mehta, Shaurya Singh, Javed Ahmed and Siddhant Agarwal from Welham Boys' School escorted by Mr Rahul Sridhar were among the 70 plus engineering students from various collages in and around Ghaziabad, who had the privilege of learning about some of the equipment at the CBI Academy Ghaziabad.
The day began early at 5:30 AM and after breakfast, we finally arrived at the C.B.I Academy, Ghaziabad. The keynote speech was very enriching. Speakers addressed the house on the subject of corruption. This was followed by a visit to the high-tech forensic laboratory. Different technology used for extraction, duplication, analysis, imaging and deleting of data was on display.
This was followed by an exciting visit to the Police Museum where the various denotions of ranks in the police were also on display, along with weapons.
