Our experienced and qualified teachers are drawn from all over the country and are highly competent in their areas of expertise. The School focuses on staff development and encourages teachers to keep abreast of the latest trends in the field of education and human development. Faculty of the Senior, Middle and Junior Schools meet together regularly to discuss issues relating to the curriculum, innovative teaching methodology and to the progress of individual boys. The subject / class teacher has the responsibility to be aware of the learning needs of her / his students, to assess students, set targets and to seek additional information and advice as appropriate, from the Tutor or Housemaster.

The School has well set up Science Laboratories, a Design technology lab, a language lab and three Computer Laboratories with the latest computers.  The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) houses a spacious library, a well equipped audiovisual room, activity rooms and an exhibition gallery to provide an atmosphere conducive to the boys to reflect on, and seek answers to the many questions that puzzle them. A conscious effort is made to encourage students to learn through research and reference by way of regular audiovisual presentations produced by the students themselves on academic and related issues. The School is equipped with a state-of-the-art IT department; most classrooms are outfitted with networking facilities. There is provision for sending emails from hostels as well. An effective firewall keeps out undesirable influences.

To encourage the growth of a “multi-dimensional “personality, the School offers a wide range of co-curricular activities varying from carpentry and motor mechanics, to photography and design –technology. This is of course , in addition to the huge array of sporting interests catered to, stretching across soccer, basketball and hockey to riding , roller –skating and rifle shooting. There is also a very strong “life skills” program in place that fosters qualities of leadership, team-spirit, and communication abilities.

A cornerstone of the School’s philosophy is to develop in its student a sense of empathy with the larger community they find themselves placed in. Towards this end, the School fosters a very pro-active “Outreach Program” which sensitizes students to the world of the not –so- privileged. Student exchange programmes with Schools abroad nurture an international outlook.

Whilst the School has no full time expertise to deal with learning problems like dyslexia, every attempt is made to help children with such problems through resource persons and programs to sensitize faculty. Careers education is given a high priority to enable students to meet the considerable challenge of the world outside school. To this end, a comprehensive careers guidance program is provided for all students by the school career counseling staff. Career counseling in the school encourages all students to make a thorough assessment of their talents and personalities through several scientific tests, and to collect information about the range of careers available and the appropriate College or University courses.
